Founder of Preodux

Building Preodux with one simple belief: discovering the right product should be easier than searching for it. People shouldn't have to search through thousands of products and multiple marketplaces just to discover what's actually worth buying.

The platform

Preodux — a product discovery platform built around one simple idea.

Product discovery, deals, launches, shopping updates, and curated recommendations — one simple destination.

The belief

Discovering the right product should be easier than searching for it.

This is the beginning of that journey.

The ambition

Build a trusted destination for product discovery — one discovery at a time.

Not an affiliate site. Not a deals site. A real consumer brand.

01 · Who I Am

An independent entrepreneur and digital builder — with a strong interest in ecommerce, product discovery, technology, and AI.

I enjoy taking an idea from the earliest stage — when it exists only as a thought — and turning it into something real. That means thinking about everything. Preodux is the biggest expression of that mindset so far.

Why should the business exist?
Who is it helping?
What problem is it solving?
How should the product work?
How should the brand look and feel?
How can technology make the business more efficient?
How can it create genuine value for users?
How can the business remain sustainable in the long term?

What I'm interested in

Digital businesses, ecommerce, product discovery, technology, marketing, branding, and AI-powered systems.

I'm not interested in building a website simply because websites can make money. I'm interested in building a useful digital platform that can become a real brand and a meaningful business over time.

What drives me

⚡

Building a useful digital platform that can become a real brand.

Preodux is the biggest expression of that mindset so far. A meaningful business over time — not a temporary internet project.

02 · Why I Built Preodux

Online shopping solved one problem extremely well: Access.

Today, consumers can buy almost anything online. But solving access created another problem: choice overload. There are thousands of products across dozens of marketplaces. I kept coming back to one question.

Access — solved.

Today, consumers can buy almost anything online.

Online shopping has solved one problem extremely well. You can buy almost anything from anywhere, anytime. That part is done. That's not the problem Preodux is solving.

But it created a new problem

😵

Choice overload.

Thousands of products. Dozens of marketplaces. Every day there are new products, brands, collections, deals, discounts, launches, trends, and sales. A consumer may have to search Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, AJIO, Croma — and more — before even knowing what is worth considering.

"Why should discovering a good product be this difficult?"

The question that became the foundation of Preodux

03 · The Idea Behind Preodux

I didn't want to build another marketplace. I wanted to build something that sits before the purchase decision.

I didn't want Preodux to compete with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa or other ecommerce platforms by trying to sell everything itself. Instead, I wanted to build a place where people can come when they are thinking…

🤔
What should I buy?→
💡
What's worth buying right now?→
🆕
What's new?→
⭐
What are the best products in this category?→
🏷️
Are there any good deals?→
📅
Is a sale coming?→
🚀
What new products have launched?→

That is where I believe Preodux can create value.

Not as a seller. Not as a marketplace. But as the place that sits before the purchase decision — a discovery layer between consumers and the enormous world of online commerce.

The discovery layer. That's the role.

04 · What Is Preodux?

Preodux is a Product Discovery Platform.

The goal is not to list every product available online. The goal is to curate and surface products that deserve attention. Preodux's role is to make discovering those products easier — across every major category.

The goal

Curate and surface products that deserve attention.

Not list everything. Not compete with marketplaces. Preodux's role is to make discovering great products easier — and the products may be available on different trusted marketplaces.

05 · Why Preodux Doesn't List Everything

The internet already contains millions of products. Adding another endless catalogue doesn't solve the problem.

It can make the problem worse. So Preodux is being built around curation rather than endless quantity. The distinction is central to the Preodux model.

The wrong question: "How many products can we list?" Wrong
The better question: "How many genuinely useful products can we help people discover?" Right
Maximum listings as the goal No
Maximum usefulness as the goal Yes
Curation over endless quantity Always
Another endless catalogue Never

"The question isn't how many products we can list. The better question is: how many genuinely useful products can we help people discover?"

This distinction is central to the Preodux model

06 · The Product Page Philosophy

Keep product pages intentionally simple.

I don't believe every product needs a massive article. For most products, users should be able to quickly understand what it is, what its important features are, what its essential specifications are, and why it might be worth considering. The objective isn't to make users read more. The objective is to help them understand faster.

The objective

Help users understand faster — not read more.

Every product page on Preodux is designed around one objective: help the user understand quickly so they can decide confidently. No unnecessary padding, no content for content's sake.

Core product page structure

Short Overview — What is it?
Key Highlights — What are its important features?
Essential Specifications — What does the buyer need to know?
Additional information where genuinely useful
Marketplace access — direct link to purchase

What about detailed reviews?

📝

Detailed reviews remain part of the long-term vision.

However, I don't want to force every product into a long-form review format before the platform has the resources to do it properly. At the current stage, the priority is to build a strong product discovery platform first.

Future content — where it adds value

Detailed product reviews
Product comparisons
Buying guides
Category research
Deeper product analysis
Expert-led recommendations
More advanced discovery tools

07 · The Bigger Vision

I want to build something people return to regularly — a daily shopping discovery destination.

Today, Preodux is a product discovery platform. But I don't want it to remain a static website where people visit only when they are ready to purchase something. I want to build something people return to regularly.

Imagine opening Preodux and finding something new every day.

What's new today? What's trending? What products just launched? What deals are worth seeing? Which sales are coming? What are today's interesting finds? What products are gaining attention?

That is the direction I want Preodux to move toward.

The Daily Discovery Vision

People don't visit only because they need something. They visit because there is always something worth discovering.

One day a new smartphone. Next day a limited-time fashion deal. Next a newly launched beauty product. Then an upcoming festival sale. Then a hidden home product they didn't know existed. This creates a different relationship with the platform.

The Preodux Journey

01

Discover

Find products and shopping opportunities you didn't know about.

02

Explore

Understand why they matter and what makes them worth considering.

03

Shortlist

Identify the products genuinely worth your time and attention.

04

Decide

Choose what fits your needs and preferences — with confidence.

05

Buy

Continue to the relevant trusted marketplace to complete your purchase.

↩

Return

Because there is always something new to discover on Preodux.

08 · What I Believe About Affiliate Marketing

Selling is not the primary objective. Creating value is.

Preodux may generate revenue through affiliate partnerships. But I don't want affiliate commissions to become the reason the platform exists. There is an important distinction.

"Help first. Monetize second."

I believe a business built around genuine user value has a much stronger foundation than one built around constantly pushing people toward purchases. If Preodux genuinely helps someone discover a product, find a useful deal, learn about a new launch, or save time while shopping — then an affiliate transaction can naturally become the result.

The Preodux affiliate philosophy
Affiliate commissions as the reason the platform exists No
Creating genuine user value first Yes
Pushing people constantly toward purchases No
Helping people discover → natural transaction follows Yes
Revenue that supports the platform's value Always
Revenue that replaces the platform's value Never

09 · How I Think About Brands

I see Preodux as a platform where brands can reach consumers at an important moment: the discovery stage.

I don't see brands simply as advertisers. Brands want their products to be discovered, considered, remembered, compared, discussed, and purchased. Preodux aims to create an environment where product discovery itself becomes valuable.

What brands want

Discovered
Considered
Remembered
Compared
Discussed
Purchased

These need to remain compatible with the trust of the platform

Business relationships that grow with the platform.

Brand collaborations, product launches, sponsored discovery, campaigns, featured placements, commerce partnerships, and other relevant opportunities — but only where they're compatible with user trust.

My long-term business philosophy

Multiple complementary revenue sources — not dependence on one stream forever.

Affiliate Commerce — qualifying purchases through partner links
Advertising — relevant, non-destructive to user experience
Brand Partnerships — collaborations with product companies
Sponsored Discovery — clearly identified brand introductions
Future Commerce & Intelligence Products

10 · What I Want Preodux To Become

A trusted destination for product discovery.

I don't want Preodux to be known simply as "an affiliate website." Or "a deals website." And I don't want it to become "another ecommerce marketplace." The ambition is different.

Known simply as "an affiliate website" Not this
Known simply as "a deals website" Not this
Another ecommerce marketplace Not this
A trusted destination for product discovery This

A place people think about when they want to know

Monthly users — a major milestone

At that stage, the focus can increasingly shift toward deeper experiences: detailed reviews, advanced comparisons, buying guides, more sophisticated product discovery, better personalization, richer category intelligence, and more advanced shopping tools. The number itself isn't the mission — it represents the point where the platform has enough audience and resources to invest much deeper into the consumer experience.

The long-term target — a strong foundation

A large, high-quality product catalogue
Strong category architecture
Consistent product curation
Strong SEO foundations
A recognizable brand
Sustainable monetization

11 · Where I See Preodux in the Future

Not as the seller. Not as the marketplace. But as the discovery layer.

My long-term vision is to build Preodux into a platform that sits between consumers and the enormous world of online commerce — the place where consumers discover what deserves their attention before they decide where and what to buy.

🏪

Not the seller

Preodux does not compete with marketplaces by trying to sell everything itself.

🛒

Not the marketplace

Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra — they are where consumers purchase. That's their role.

🔍

The discovery layer

The place where consumers discover what deserves their attention before they decide where and what to buy.

The journey ahead — step by step

Where we are today — the foundation being built

Growing audience, stronger curation, recognizable brand

→

A daily shopping discovery destination

People return regularly — not just when they want to buy

A deeper consumer product intelligence ecosystem

One step at a time. One product at a time. One discovery at a time.

12 · My Approach to Building the Company

Building Preodux with a lean, AI-first and system-driven approach.

The idea is to use technology and automation wherever they can improve research, product discovery, content production, design, operations, data organization, marketing, and workflow efficiency. But technology isn't the mission. Technology is the leverage. The mission remains creating a useful experience for consumers.

🔬

Research

Technology to improve how products are researched, evaluated, and surfaced.

⚙️

Operations

Lean, system-driven operations to maintain quality without unnecessary complexity.

🤖

AI-First

AI-powered systems wherever they make the business more efficient and the experience better.

🎯

The Mission

Technology is the leverage. Creating a useful experience for consumers is the mission. Always.

13 · What I Care About Most

Principles I want to remain at the heart of Preodux as it grows.

These aren't just values written on a page. They're the filter every decision at Preodux passes through.

01 · Trust Over Short-Term Revenue

🏆

A commission is temporary. Trust can compound for years.

Short-term revenue from a bad recommendation doesn't outweigh the long-term cost of losing a user's trust. We choose trust every time.

02 · Value Over Hype

💡

We don't need to make every product sound amazing.

We need to help users discover products that deserve their attention. Honest, useful discovery — not marketing hype dressed as curation.

03 · Curation Over Clutter

🎯

More products don't automatically mean more value.

Better selection can create a better experience. Every product on Preodux should be there because it deserves to be — not because we needed to fill a page.

04 · Simplicity Over Complexity

⚡

If something can be made easier without losing useful information, it should be.

Shopping already feels complicated enough. Preodux should always be making things simpler, not adding to the noise.

05 · Long-Term Over Short-Term

🔭

Preodux is being built as a long-term brand, not a temporary internet project.

Every decision we make today is viewed through the lens of where we want Preodux to be in 5 years — not 5 weeks. That's the only way to build something genuinely meaningful.

If something doesn't create meaningful value for the consumer, we shouldn't build it simply because it can make money.

The Founder Promise — guiding the platform, the brand, and the company.

14 · What Success Means To Me

Success isn't simply traffic, followers, revenue, or valuation. It's a habit.

Those things matter to a business. But they aren't the ultimate goal. For me, success means something much more specific — and much more meaningful.

Traffic, followers, revenue, valuation Important but not the goal
Number of products listed Important but not the goal

For me, success would be seeing someone naturally think: "Before I buy this, let me check Preodux."

If millions of people eventually develop that habit, I will know we built something meaningful. That's the only metric that truly matters in the long run.

The ultimate measure of success

The personal goal behind Preodux

I want to build something that is bigger than a single website.

I want to learn how to build products, brands, technology, systems, teams, distribution, communities, and businesses. Preodux is the platform through which I'm learning and executing that ambition.

The stages of the journey

Early stage — learning
Next stage — proving the model
Then — scaling
Then — building a team
Then — deeper technology & consumer experiences

What I'm building toward

Turn Preodux from a website into a real consumer technology and commerce brand.

Building stronger capabilities across product, technology, research, content, data, marketing, partnerships, operations, and consumer experience — while preserving the principles that made it useful in the first place.

15 · A Message From The Founder

Saiyad Riyaz Alam · Founder, Preodux

"I don't want Preodux to become another website that tells people what to buy. I want it to become a place that helps people discover what is worth their attention. The internet already gives us more choices than we can process. My goal is to build a platform that makes those choices easier to navigate — through better curation, better discovery, useful shopping updates, and eventually deeper product intelligence."

"Preodux is still at the beginning. But the ambition is simple: build something people find genuinely useful, earn their trust over time, and keep making the experience better as we grow."

16 · A Note About The Journey

Preodux is still young. There are no claims of having already achieved the final vision.

The platform is being built step by step. Some ideas will work. Some will need to change. Some will be replaced entirely. That's part of building. What matters is staying focused on the problem.

The question that will continue to guide the company: "How can we make discovering products and shopping opportunities easier for consumers?"

Preodux is still young. We're building step by step. Some ideas will work. Some will need to change. Some will be replaced entirely. That's part of building anything real. What matters is staying focused on the problem — and the answer to that question guides everything we do.

Some ideas will work Build on them
Some will need to change Adapt
Some will be replaced entirely That's building
Stay focused on the problem Always
